Ahate Besta - Duck festival

Since 1987 on the 3rd Saturday in July the Bixintxo Festival Committee organises a great popular duck festival.

A giant meal brings together around 1500 people with a set menu: ham, duck aiguillettes, rice, sheep's cheese, Basque gateau.

During the meal entertainment is provided by local dancers and bands.
